Bothwell to host Grieving Recovery Method Awareness Program

In collaboration with Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care, The Bothwell Regional Health Center will be hosting a bereavement recovery method awareness program from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. September 13 – November 1 at Bothwell Education Center at 600 E. 14th Stret , in Sedalia.

One of the least discussed concerns in society is grief, which is the normal and natural reaction to loss. The Grieving Recovery Method Awareness Program, based on the Grieving Recovery Manual, will guide those who wish to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief to a richer quality of life.

The Grieving Recovery Method is an evidence-based eight week program. The class can be joined for the first two weeks, then it becomes a closed group. The group will be moderated by Beth Hunt, a Certified Bereavement Support Specialist with Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care.

“We are pleased to host this program at Bothwell,” said Kim Perez, director of clinical education. “We hope the program will help participants feel supported and encouraged at every step of their grieving process.”

For more information or to register, contact Hunt at beth.hunt@crossroadshospice.com or 660-422-5804. To view other classes and support groups, visit brhc.org/classes.
