Death in Paradise season 11: Dwayne Myers returns “sealed” as Ralf Little teases his cameo | Television and radio | Showbiz and TV

Dwayne Myers (played by Danny John-Jules) was one of the original cast members of Death in Paradise. Beginning in 2011, Danny played the role of the much-loved police officer before making the difficult decision to leave after seven years in Sainte Marie.

Danny’s exit came shortly after Kris Marshall left in 2017. The Love Actually star played DI Humprey Goodman for three years before deciding it was time to leave.

In season seven, Dwayne reunited with his long-lost father Nelson Myers (Ram John Holder).

He flew from London to build a new relationship with Dwayne, but it wasn’t easy to rebuild their bond.

Nelson disappeared again and Dwayne was willing to ask DI Jack Mooney (Ardal O’Hanlon) for some time to pick him up – although in the end it wasn’t necessary as Nelson showed up again.

Series 10 of the hit drama saw the unlikely return of DI Richard Poole (Ben Miller) who returned from the dead after being stabbed to death with an ice pick.

Ben made an appearance to mark the 10th anniversary of the series.

Another familiar face who returned to the show was DS Florence Cassell (Josephine Jobert).

The Detective Sgt returned to Sainte Marie to help DI Neville Parker solve the death of a journalist found dead in a swimming pool.
