With Death in Paradise Season 10 ending on a cliffhanger and Season 11 set to begin production within the next couple of months, fans remembered old episodes of the show. Watching season five, some fans spotted a subtle clue they missed on their first viewing that involved Humphrey.

Knowing that they will have to wait a whole year for the next series of Death in Paradise, many fans took a look at some older episodes.

But, some viewers spotted a big clue in season five foreshadowing the release of DI Goodman (played by Kris Marshall).

Fans seem to think a big clue was dropped in the third episode of season five.

Viewers shared what they spotted online, explaining when they think they teased Humphrey’s future script.

One fan wrote on “Florence closes her notepad and puts the cap back on the pen as Dwayne had just started telling everyone what the police reported on one of the suspects.

“She has no way of knowing at this point what Dwayne is about to disclose, and that Humphrey is about to go with her.”

The case of a murdered fisherman ultimately sent Humphrey, Florence and Dwayne to London to work with the Met to find his killer.

But, they had no idea that Humphrey would not be returning to the Caribbean after their trip to London.

However, after resolving his case, Humphrey had a revelation and visited Martha once more.

In a romantic speech, he said, “There’s no point in me being in the Caribbean if you’re going to be here.

“Because where you are is where my heaven is, and where you are is where I want to be.” I love you.”

True love conquered everything, and Saint Mary found herself finding a new detective.

The most recent season of Death in Paradise left fans begging for more as it ended with a cliffhanger involving Neville and DS Florence Cassell (played by Josephine Jobert).

Fans of the dramatic comedy waited patiently to see if Neville was going to regain the courage and ask his coworker out on a date.

But, just when viewers thought he was about to have his happiness forever, the episode ended, meaning they would have to wait until the following season to find out what will happen next. .
