Ralf Small shared many fascinating behind-the-scenes footage from Death in paradise recently, and show fans were elated when the actor shared a video of his own take on fan favorite character Harry the Lizard!

The actor took to his Instagram to reveal that a lizard had visited his hotel room and Ralf couldn’t help but refer to Harry, the lizard featured in the BBC drama .

Ralf could be seen saying to the camera, “I was just sitting about to turn on the TV and I saw this little guy around here!” Hi buddy, how are you! as he pointed to a lizard perched on his hotel cupboard.

He added: “And what I love is that I have my own Harry!” I have to call you Harry, right, buddy? I’ll keep you posted, if he keeps coming back he could live here with me. “

Many Ralf followers were delighted with the clip. One person wrote: “LIFE imitates art. A second said: “Make sure you tell anyone who might be doing housework or maintaining the residence not to chase Harry or hurt the little guy.” A third wrote: “Very cool !!! I love Harry.”

Ralf was so excited to have his own “Harry”

Meanwhile, the cast and crew of Death in paradise are back on the beautiful island of Guadeloupe to shoot a brand new series, but Ralf revealed a surprising problem that recently prevented the filming: the weather!

The BBC star, who will reprise his role as DI Neville Parker for Series 11, shared a behind-the-scenes look on his Instagram, showing his followers why filming has become a little “difficult” due to the rain.

Ralf could be seen saying to the camera, ‘A little taste of heaven for you’, before showing the downpour outside and saying, ‘This is the song you don’t see on the show. “

The actor then approached his co-star, Joséphine Jobert, to ask her jokingly if she was ready to shoot in the rain: “Are you ready for our outdoor stage Jos?” The Royal family star then added in French: “Ha that’s very difficult!”
