Deeper Life launches empowerment program, says it covers all religions

The Deeper Christian Life ministry on Saturday launched an empowerment program, called Young Eagles Soaring, to train the country’s youth in job skills.

The program attended by thousands of young people who cross religious lines was initiated by the Church Superintendent, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, at the grounds of Deeper Life Camp, Eyenkorin, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

According to the church, the program is for teens, college students, Corps members and young adults.

Pastor Kumuyi, who was in the state for a 7-day crusade, said his mission was to be a blessing under special supernatural deliverance for all through Christ.

“My mission is to involve young people, not just young Christians or young Muslims. I want to open the eyes of young people and show them who they can be and what they can be, and refocus them,” he said.

The cleric added that the program was inspired by some of my recent engagements with young people in Nigeria.

Addressing the youths, Kumuyi who said that every human being created by God has one talent or another, urged the youths to use their talents to excel in life.

“I charge you to be like an eagle that flies and soars in the sky with determination. You have the grace to perform, to achieve goals, to look at patterns and to show endurance,” a- he declared.
