FAMU announces plans for summer 2020 and 2021 launch ceremonies

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida A&M University will be hosting summer 2021 and 2020 graduation ceremonies over the weekend of July 30 to August 1, the school said in a press release Friday night.

The ceremony for all summer 2021 graduates will be held at the Al Lawson Jr. Multi-Purpose Center at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 30.

The opening ceremony on Saturday, July 31 at 9 a.m. will celebrate the graduates of the School of Business and Industry 2020, the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Institute of Public Health and the School of ‘environment.

A ceremony on Saturday, July 31 at 3 p.m. will feature graduates of the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities and a military commissioning ceremony.

On Sunday, August 1 at 9 a.m., 2020 graduates of the College of Science and Technology, College of Agricultural and Food Sciences, School of Architecture and Electrical Technology, School of Journalism and Graphic Communication, the School of Nursing and the famous Engineering College.

The final ceremony for the start of summer season will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, when the 2020 graduates of the College of Education, College of Law and School of Allied Health Sciences will be celebrated.

Summer 2021 graduates must apply for graduation by July 9 and 2020 graduates must register to participate by June 18.
