Outdoor Celtic music concert

The Wilbraham-Sarah The Fiddler Outdoor Celtic Music Concert will be held Saturday, July 23 from 1-3:45 p.m. on the lawn of Christ the King Epiphany Church, 758 Main St., across from Rice’s Farm. Bring your garden chair and/or blanket. Admission is free, donations are accepted to support the Minnechaug Land Trust.

Organ Celebration Concert Series

Ashfield – First Congregational Church of Ashfield will hold the closing concert of the Organ Celebration Concert Series which marks the recent restoration of the church’s historic George W. Reed pipe organ. The concert will take place on Sunday, July 24 at 2 p.m. The concert will feature the Bob Sparkman Trio with Jerry Noble, piano and organ; Bob Sparkman, clarinet; and Kara Noble, bass and Tinky Weisblat, soprano. Admission is free and the public is welcome. Masks may be required inside the sanctuary.

Somers, Conn. – Somers Congregational Church, 599 Main Street, will present a live concert by the Steel Band of New Haven on Sunday, July 24 at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Voluntary donations will be accepted. Proceeds will go to the church’s music and arts committee for future concerts. The event is open to the public. A sale of Polish frozen food products

Springfield – The Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St., Indian Orchard section will be hosting a Polish Frozen Food Sale (Pierogi, Golabki, Kapusta) on Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Church Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Rehearsal of the show

Agawam – Rehearsals for September Entertainment for members of the Catholic Women’s Club will be held Thursday evenings in July and August at 7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Parish Center, 833 Main St. The show will be for the Sept. monthly meeting , September 12. All club members are invited to be part of the cast for this event. Whether you want to sign as an individual group, dance, participate in a skit or two, or entertain in any way.

Selling Catholic Women’s Club Labels/Crafts and Vendors

Agawam – Seats are available for the Agawam Catholic Women’s Club Tag/Craft/Vendor Sale to be held on Saturday, August 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at the St. John the Evangelist Parish Center, located at 833 Main Street spaces are $30 (9′ x 9′) and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Tables are available for $10. For application and information, contact Jackie at 860-212-9950. Proceeds from the event will be used for the club’s scholarship fund.

Summerfest Chicken BBQ

Granby – Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 256 State St. will hold its annual Chicken BBQ on Sunday, August 28 from noon to 4 p.m. Call the parish office to purchase tickets in advance at 413-467-9821.

Next trip to church

Springfield – Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut St., return bus rides starting Monday, August 15, annual Hampton Beach meet, one-day ride. The cost is $50 and includes the day on your own at the beach. Summer Worship Schedule

Holyoke – St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 485 Appleton St., announces its summer worship schedule, now through September 4, Sundays at 9 a.m. Holy Eucharist with service in Spanish, Saturdays at 6 p.m. Holy Eucharist .

Additional worship time

Agawam – St. John the Evangelist Church, 833 Main St. announces an additional time for worship each month. On the occasion of the “Year of the Eucharist”, an initiative of the Diocese of Springfield. On the first Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., mass precedes adoration at 8 a.m. Any Catholic interested in registering for a First Friday Worship Hour can register in the church vestibule. third Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m.; Wednesday, each week, from noon to 5:45 p.m., Holy Mass takes place at 6 p.m. “The Year of the Eucharist” is an initiative of the Diocese of Springfield to inspire and cultivate a deeper understanding and practice of the real presence of the Eucharist. “The Year of the Eucharist” runs until October 7. Free weekly lunch for veterans

Easthampton – The Baha’i Community of Western Mass./Southern Vt. invites everyone to its regular online devotional programs as follows: Weekly Sunday Devotions via Zoom at 11:30 a.m. every Sunday morning, hosted by local communities, including the Baha’is of Easthampton and others on an alternating basis.
