Ralf Little, 41, said it was “good to be back” in Guadeloupe, as he shared a video of the magnificent villa he is housed in on his Instagram page. The Royle family actor returned to the Caribbean island ready to shoot a new series on the BBC show and showed off the stunning views from the property, which includes its own private pool.
The actor filmed the panoramic views of the coast from the villa’s rear garden.
He zoomed in to show viewers how he could view the show’s Honoré Police Station from the property.
He said: “It’s my back garden, and there… there is Honoré’s police station.
“It’s good to be home,” he added.

He also admitted he had no reason to leave, telling The Guardian: “Of the four actors who played lead detective – Ben Miller, Kris Marshall and Ardal O’Hanlon – my family situation is the easiest.
“I have no children or responsibilities.
The 41-year-old joined the hit BBC crime drama midway through series nine, succeeding Ardal.
He is also known for his roles in The Royle Famly and Two Pints Of Lager and a Packet Of Chips.
According to the BBC, Series 11 and 12 “will see cast regulars and new faces descend on Sainte Marie” to plunge into “a world of mysterious murders and puzzling puzzles”.
Executive Producer Tim Key said in a statement, “We are extremely proud of Series 10 and delighted to be returning to Saint Marie to continue the story.
“Our team and our amazing actors have delivered through thick and thin this year and we can’t wait to do it again.
“We have huge plans for the future, with a lot of surprises to come. “
