Katy Nichole’s life has changed after the TikTok video for her debut single, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)”, went viral, garnering over 80 million views.

Nichole recently signed to be an artist on Christian label Centricity Music after being discovered on social media. The opportunities presented themselves after his song became an anthem for millions on TikTok and Instagram.

Christian radio giant K-Love began streaming the song on its platform before she was signed to the label, something K-Love has never done for any artist in its 40-year history. story.

The single was written during the COVID-19 pandemic and has personal meaning for the singer who is in the midst of her own health crisis.

The chorus was made up of Nichole’s journal entries which proclaim, “I pray for your healing / Circumstances change / I pray that the fear inside will flee / In the name of Jesus / I pray that a breakthrough happen today / I pray miracles upon your life in Jesus name.

Her words are a bold statement of her unwavering faith in God’s healing ability and in the power of prayer.

Nichole was diagnosed with scoliosis before writing the song “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)”. Following spinal surgery, the young singer, who has been singing in church since the age of 14, suffered from depression while in bed due to pain. Three years after her first surgery, Nichole underwent a follow-up procedure to remove metal rods and screws placed along her spine to keep her upright.

“I go into the second operation, and I come out of it, and the smoke cloud of depression is gone. I met the Lord then,” Nichole recalled in a statement shared with The Christian Post. “When I got my x-rays after the operation, my spine was actually straighter than when the rods were there. So when I say God can do miracles, I really mean it, because I’ve seen it.

“There is no story that does not matter to God. Every story was written by him, and he is the greatest author of all time,” she said. “God healed me, so I know He can heal someone else. I’m going to share my story and hopefully it will encourage others to go and share theirs.”

The worship leader, who recently moved to Nashville, is now both an ambassador for Shriners Hospitals for Children and a volunteer for Musicians On Call. She feels called to advocate for others facing health issues because God helped her through her crisis.

Nichole is currently working on her debut album. For more information, visit its website.
