Under Deck’s Tanner Sterback Shares His Recovery From Skateboard Accident

Tanner Sterback is on the mend after being hospitalized for a skateboard accident earlier this month.

the Under the bridge yachtie shared an update on his recovery in an Instagram post on March 26 that featured a photo of him sunbathing and swimming in Pompano Beach, Fla. “Hi everyone, recovery week 2/6 is in the books and I just want to thank everyone who [has] reached out and [has] provided such positivity and love. This injury hasn’t been the easiest to deal with, but I’m fortunate to be surrounded by great people and nothing but support, ”Tanner wrote. The scars begin to fade and the fractures heal. “

Tanner also sent his love to everyone during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). “I really hope you are all safe and find the right shows and snacks that you stuff yourselves on during this quarantine process,” he said. “I wish you all the best and send my love to you all.”

The deckhand ended up in the hospital’s ICU earlier this month when a car came “too close for comfort” while he was electric skateboarding. Tanner previously opened up about the crash in an Instagram post on March 19 that featured a photo of himself with injuries to his face, hands and arms, as well as a white bandage wrapped around his left wrist.

“Waking up in the ICU was intimidating. I suffered a broken skull and a few grazes. The sublime doctors at the Broward Trauma Center called me very lucky and after a week in the hospital I am grateful to be home with my family. out of love and gratitude, ”Tanner shared in the post, which began with the advice to“ always wear a helmet ”.

“A long road to recovery ahead, but I am very grateful and plan to continue showing a positive attitude, sharing positivity and love,” he said. “Hope everyone is safe and doing well. Lots of love!”
